For individuals at the very top of their field — scientists, researchers, executives, artists, and athletes whose achievements stand apart. The EB-1 preference offers one of the fastest and most prestigious routes to U.S. permanent residency.
The EB-1 is the first preference category of U.S. employment-based permanent residency. Reserved for individuals whose accomplishments place them among the best in their field, it is widely regarded as one of the most respected — and one of the fastest — immigration pathways available.
Unlike most employment-based categories, EB-1 applicants are generally not required to go through PERM labor certification, and in several cases no sponsoring employer is needed at all. This makes EB-1 the pathway of choice for extraordinary individuals, outstanding professors and researchers, and multinational executives relocating to the United States.
"The EB-1 is built for people whose body of work speaks for itself — we simply help present it clearly, thoroughly, and without compromise."
Each EB-1 track is designed for a different profile. Choosing the correct subcategory is the single most important strategic decision at the start of any case.
For individuals with sustained national or international acclaim in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. No employer sponsorship required — applicants may self-petition.
For academics and researchers with international recognition in a specific field. Requires a permanent job offer from a qualifying U.S. university or research institution.
For senior leaders transferring to a U.S. affiliate, subsidiary, or parent company. Applicant must have worked abroad in a managerial or executive role for at least 1 of the past 3 years.
EB-1A applicants generally need to satisfy at least three of the following ten criteria — or demonstrate a one-time major achievement such as a Nobel Prize or Oscar.
Receipt of lesser nationally or internationally recognized prizes or awards for excellence in your field.
Membership in associations that require outstanding achievements from their members, judged by experts.
Published material in professional or major trade publications or major media about you and your work.
Participation — individually or on a panel — as a judge of the work of others in the same or related field.
Evidence of original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business-related contributions of significance.
Authorship of scholarly articles in professional or major trade publications or other major media.
Display of your work at artistic exhibitions or showcases in recognized institutions or venues.
A leading or critical role in distinguished organizations with a strong reputation in your field.
Evidence of a high salary or remuneration relative to others in the same field, supported by comparable data.
Commercial successes in the performing arts, as shown by box office receipts, sales, or comparable metrics.
From strategy to submission, every EB-1 case we support follows the same structured, rigorous framework.
Start Your CaseWe review your background, accomplishments, and supporting evidence against the full EB-1 framework — then recommend the strongest subcategory: EB-1A, EB-1B, or EB-1C.
We build a clear evidence plan mapped to each criterion, identify gaps, and advise on what to add — publications, awards, letters, media, judging activity, and more.
We organize every exhibit, draft and review all supporting letters, and structure the petition so the adjudicator can evaluate your merits clearly and without friction.
We coordinate filing and stay with you through any requests for additional evidence (RFEs), updates, and downstream steps — including adjustment of status or consular processing.
